Vegan banana and chocolate ice cream.
Ingredients:
Ice Cream:
. Sliced ripe frozen banana (350g)
. Coconut milk (60ml)
. Vanilla extract (1 tablespoon)
. Almond butter (1 tablespoon)
. Cinnamon (1 teaspoon)
. 70g Zesty Chocolate
Topping:
. 50g Zesty Chocolate
. Chopped almonds to taste
Preparation:
1. Slice the bananas and freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight.
2. In a blender, add the banana slices gradually, blending until it reaches an ice cream consistency. Mash and blend the banana until it forms a creamy texture.
3. Add coconut milk, vanilla extract, almond butter, and cinnamon. Blend again until a creamy mixture is obtained.
4. Transfer the ice cream to a container. Chop the Zesty Chocolate and add it, stirring well until everything is thoroughly combined.
5. Place the container with the ice cream in the freezer until it becomes solid.
6. When serving for an extra touch, melt the Zesty chocolate in the microwave or a saucepan and pour it over the ice cream scoop. Also, sprinkle chopped almonds.
This ice cream is vegan and only contains naturally occurring sugars.
